The Cares Camping   is situated in “Picos de Europa” in a little village called Santa Marina, Valdeon Valley in the province of León. It is surrounded by mountains and lots of water which runs down them, a lot of flora which depending on the time of the year gives the environment a different character.

There is also a great variety of fauna. For all this, the geographical characteristics of the area and for many other secrets that can be unveiled in different part of the natural park, those who visit the camping enjoy a magical connection with the environment. The gastronomy, the charm of the villages and the great amount of activities which can be enjoyed, will make you come closer to heaven.

How to get here:

From Asturias, León and Cantabria


Once you arrive to Cangas de Onís you must go towards the gorge of Los Beyos and which connects with the Port of el Pontón. (45Km)
Once you have passed the Port, you reach a sign on the left which indicates the deviation towards the Port of Pandarruedas and the Valdeon Inn. (14Km)
Once you reach the village, turn right at the village square and take a road which leads towards Santa Marina de Valdeón. (3Km)


From Potes take the road which leads to the Port of San Glorio.
Continue towards Portilla de la Reina (37Km) and look for  a sign wich directs you to Santa Marina de Valdeón. (17Km)


Through the Port of Pandetrave.
Once you pass Riaño, you will come to a crossing  where you will have to turn right to take the road to Portilla de la Reina. (37Km)
In this village, you will see a sign indicating the direction towards Santa Marina de Valdeón. (17Km)

Through the Port of Panderruedas.
Instead of taking the road to the right at the crossing in Riaño, go left direction Cangas de Onís. (16Km)
Before arriving to the Port of Pontón, a sign on the right indicates the deviation towards the Port of Panderrruedas and the Valdeón Inn. (14Km)
Once you reach the village, turn right at the village square and take a road which leads towards Santa Marina de Valdeón. (3Km)
